When you're decorating your windows, why not give them a bit of an MOT and check for other areas that might need attention?

Two of the most important would be to make sure the seal between the window and wall is intact and that water's not getting into your home; and the second is to check for faulty glazing lines where water could seep into the timber - if you notice a problem, get your staining done then use a gun-applied sealant such as silicone or polysulphide.
